Ladies Talking BWOP is about us as women talking to each other and the young women in our lives about becoming and being women of omnipotent power. In this life we achieve or we fail. When we talk, we come from our own strength, experiences, and history in that we keep our purpose to the forefront of our lives. As women, we take care of our loved ones so unselfishly. But the question is what are you doing for yourself? Have you heard the song, "What have you done for me lately", an old classic, by Janet Jackson? Well I say, "What have you done for yourself lately without feeling guilty about putting yourself first for one moment, second, minute, hour, day, or week for that matter"? Each morning we're blessed to wake up and see another day, we have to look at "this woman" in the mirror, and by the way, she won't talk back to you.
Ladies Talking BWOP is about us and we deserve it. We need to continue to focus on our purpose of life which isn't always clear to me and maybe even to you. We will wonder around this earth fruitless if we don't know where we're going. Our travels will be hindered when we don't know our destination. What good is our lives if we can't seem to walk on a good road or even a road that lead blessings to us?
I know I'm hungry for life. I have eaten many pies but none that satisfies me. I have seen many clowns but none that makes me laugh. I have many friends but none that really comforts me. I have read many books but none that truly tell my story. Sometimes I'm like a disobedient soul that wonders around wanting to be spontaneous and selfish for a moment. I simply desire to do something different, something else, yet I still remain loyal to the time of others.
Once again what good are my feet if I cannot go off course to a path desired? Like I said, the purpose of life, not necessarily always my life, is not alway clear to me and maybe not even to you. But I will tell you one thing, I'm living, I'm walking, I'm using my heart to love others, and I've found the good pie of life - Myself! So where is the good pie in your life?
Always remember the purpose of life may not always be understood,
But it takes no genius to understand,
You have to live,
Or you will die,
