Thieves in the Temple
I feel a struggle within myself that I sometimes cannot explain,
I sense a war within the corners of my heart that fights for the right to rule my mind,
The warriors are not of human configuration but they are spiritual in nature,
The war of lust, greed, envy, jealousy, strife, and disobedient acts,
Fights against the rulers of purity, unselfishness, understanding, peace, and obedience,
War alienates my mind from my heart by constantly tearing down the strongholds I built,
Somehow I must stop the thieves in the temple, and conquer the unseen of my heart,
Before I destroy the seeds of my life and the thieves rule forever,
I have a fighting spirit to go beyond the boundaries of my limitless mind,
No enemy can conquer me and no one can erase my existence,
If you want to fight me, go to my shadow, it may have time to deal with you,
But no more thieves in my temple will I allow to pollute my soul, mind, and heart,
I will not destroy the seeds of my life, as with more I will be blessed,
The strongholds of my life will proper my fortune of love and happiness,
I stopped the thieves in my temple and I conquered the unseen of my heart,
I destroyed the enemy who attacked the seeds of my life and thieves no longer rule!
You Got To Believe
You got to believe are easy words to say, the hard part is to believe,
For many years I've waited for what is to be but only received what isn’t,
It's hard to imagine your life without its natural desires and drives,
Yet many walk around without every day of their lives,
You got to believe are easy words to say, the hard part is to believe,
What you say will come by your way one day,
Despite adversity, it is clear to me that if you get anything in this world,
You got to believe and let me let you in on a little secret,
Sometimes saying the words you got to believe isn’t easy, but someone has to do it,
Why not you?
And then, do what you believe you can do! Even if you go through alone!
