POEM - Suicide

Examine for Strength to Gain the Way

Wondering in my mind, I think about how I look on the inside,
To examine myself, I must step outside of my own heart,
I keep many bad habits they seem to be friends of mine,
Friends can destroy you and force you to become an image you are not,
For many years I tried to break the bad ones,
Yet they were in control of me and I by choice lost myself in their deceitfulness,
What must I do, what step must I take to make a better way,
My heart must be put ablaze to burn down the comfort of ill exchange,
For while I was looking in, I saw that there existed a new mind called Victory,
And I from this day forth will triumph,
I will no longer settle for the ill exchange of wrong but I will be a statue of strength,
Strength that I found within myself while I looked upon myself from the outside!

My Deepest Moments

My deepest moments cross the page with magical ink of an angel's pen,
Existence is not enough to sing a song,
But living and knowing you are living is a great song to sing,
In turn it is not good to be ungrateful about being alive,
Even if you are still in the same path and crossroad of life,
Our creator did us no favors when he pulled us from our mother’s womb,
As we have done him no favor by living in the hills and valleys of life,
The gift of the Creator flows through every soul,
But not every soul receives the gift of their Creator,
No more latent dreams and hopes of life,
Taking chances where no chance is possible is living like a blind bat in a cave,
For those who would like you to live your deepest moments underground,
Give your life your best and put their comments to rest at the bottom of their swamp,
My deepest moments will not come to me in the grave,
I am brave, courageous, and a true warrior,
Yet even the sun will set on my brilliance and unfulfilled dreams lay with my remains,
So with this knowledge I make a vow to make as many dreams come true,
To live in respect and no neglect of desires, wants, or needs,
To treat everyone with dignity and respect,
Aspiring to get my own feet wet in the waters of reality,
From my deepest moments come from to love and be loved,
The truth of my dreams will come and the deepest moments of my life will remain!
